Hikes

Trail 7 for the Malga Gasser Hütte

Starting from the village square, walk along the "Almstraße". At the first bend turn left towards Kranebitt. Follow signpost 7, passing near ancient farms to the Diller and Pfroder huts. Cross the bridge over Rio di Pusteria, make a slight climb. After passing Parjöl, you reach the Speckboden car park (there is a votive shrine here). Trail 7 leads you to the "Saltner Stein" and the Malga Gasser (1,744 m). The way back is the same as going.

From Malga Gasser to Monte Villandro

The starting point is the parking lot at the Malga Gasser. Follow sign 16 to the Chiesetta del Morto  (Totenkirchl) "am Toten", and then take the small uphill path to the left towards the "Totensee" pond. From here, go up the steep slope of the mountain until you reach the top of Monte Villandro.
The return is via the Forcella Sarentina. Go past the small Villandro hut and continue on path 3 east to the Sella dei Sentieri.
Finally, return to the Malga Gasser along the road between the farms.

Hike to Sass de Putia

The starting point is the Passo delle Erbe. Following paths 8A and 4, you reach the Foria di Putia (2,405 m). Continue along the 4B trail markers. The uphill section is equipped with metal cables up to the top. A steep rocky path leads to the cross on the summit. Follow the same route to return.
